The Louis Franklin
Championship FiddleFest began in 2005 in
Whitewright, Texas and is an Annual Event. Fiddlers,
Accompanists and Fans come from all over the Country to
participate and enjoy the Music Event held in honor of Louis
and his wife Louise, for their accomplishments and life long
support of Texas Fiddling. Louis and Louise both passed in
2009 but the Franklin Family and the FiddleFest Sponsor’s are
proud to carry on the Tradition of Texas Style Fiddling and
some of the Best Fiddler’s in the world compete each year for
the Championship and Prize Money. You
