The Time Jumpers are an award-winning Western swing band from Nashville. This group of Nashville’s studio elite evolved from casual jam sessions at the Grand Ole Opry to performing on the radio show’s main stage. They have received four Grammy nominations. Two for their latest Rounder Records Album “The Time Jumpers” released in 2012 and two for their live album “Jumpin’ Time” released in 2007. And they have twice been recognized by the Association of Western Artists and have a Western Music Association honor to their credit.
The Time Jumpers have been sought out to record with artists such as Vince Gill, Amy Grant, John Anderson, Miranda Lambert and Asleep at the Wheel. Their individual recording and performing credits cover virtually the entire history of country music, ranging from Slim Whitman to Carrie Underwood. Band members have recorded extensively with artists in other genres as well, from Barbra Streisand to Megadeth, proving the Time Jumpers are quite at home with any genre.
Their winning combination of tight arrangements, soulful singers, brilliant soloists, and an irresistibly swinging rhythm section have packed their weekly performances at downtown Nashville’s “3rd and Lindsley” nightclub after a ten year run at the legendary Station Inn, drawing not only their peers but an amazingly diverse array of artists spanning all genres of music.
